SOME EXTERIOR PROJECTS CAN WAIT UNTIL SPRING.

Yesterday I looked at this aluminum-sided home.

There is visible coating loss, and in several areas the finish has worn away enough that the aluminum is exposed.

It needs to be addressed.

But that does not automatically mean it needs to be painted in the next few weeks.

There is still exterior painting weather left this year. There are exterior projects we can still complete correctly this season.

This one can wait until spring.

We still worked through what the project will need when the time comes: proper preparation, Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl primer where the aluminum is exposed, followed by Emerald Exterior Acrylic Latex.

Now the homeowner understands the condition and has a plan for the project later.

Late August does not mean every exterior project has to become urgent.

Some projects should be completed this season.
Some may need a smaller repair or maintenance step before winter.
Some can simply be planned correctly for spring.

The important part is knowing which one you have.
